“We offer holistic trainings, workshops, and seminars that are biblically based. We fuse faith based principles with therapeutic training modalities.”
Your emotional health is important to your family and God.
It is a holistic practice that scriptures support. The Bible is full of examples where Biblical figures shared their thoughts and feelings with trusted individuals and sought wise counsel. Proverbs 19:20KJV “Hear counsel and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end”.
Moses talked and shared with Aaron. Exodus 4:28ESV “And Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord with which he had sent him to speak, and all the signs that he had commanded him to do.” Moses had to trust Aaron immensely to share what he heard from the voice of God.
In Esther chapter 4 Mordecai sent a message to Esther that Haman had put an order in motion to kill all the Jews. Esther took a great risk going against customs to approach the King of her time in the inner court without being called to deliver a message. That was not an easy emotional task for either Mordecai or Esther to conquer their fears and do what they thought was right.
Jesus in all his prominence shared with Mary Magdalene after his resurrection. In John chapter 20 Jesus told Mary Magdalene to relay an extremely important message that he would be ascending to the Father in heaven. Jesus trusted that Mary would deliver the message as instructed.
Therapy is sometimes called counseling or psychotherapy. It is a process of meeting a person known as a therapist who has been trained to help a person resolve behaviors, feelings, beliefs, relationship issues, and/or responses or reactions that show up in the body. Therapy is not a one size fit all experience. Therapy should be tailored to fit and meet individual needs. If a person does the work in therapy they can become healthier and live the best life that is possible for them.
A counselor or therapist solving all of your life problems and telling you how to live your life. Therapy is not simply talking and just having a rap session. Therapy is not an instant process of change.
“I admit I was skeptical at first BUT Tarinna has walked me through many emotional barriers that kept me stuck, complacent, and honestly just very unhappy with my life. She is understanding, thoughtful, and uses practical biblical principles in her sessions. I am comfortable with her. She calmed my fears and helped me find emotional freedom. And I absolutely love that she includes Jesus in everything that she does. If you’re looking for a safe space, I highly recommend Jesus and Therapy Too. Thanks Tarinna!”

We believe that every believer sometimes struggles with their emotions. The Bible is full of scriptures that discuss emotions and feelings. But we must not become a prisoner to what we feel or think. Acts 16:25-26 is the foundational scripture for Jesus and Therapy Too. We may find ourselves in rough places in life just as Paul and Silas did while imprisoned. But in the midst of all the emotional pain Paul and Silas experienced they managed their emotions and praised God through it.
