Now he is wondering
How did he allow this to happen?
He dips in And then dips out
Terrified of his feelings
Stuck in much doubt
Scratching his head
Really wanting to shout
He is like a dope feen
He eventually comes back for his fix
Wondering why it is me he misses
Trapped in a past of such emotional hurt
Afraid I will be yet another woman
To bury him in dirt
He tried to stay away
But the force was so strong
But I feel I have dealt with this

Seeing him attempt to run
From what he feels and carries within

I can not help him
With his emotional pain
Clearly he is not ready
